LAYER created the brand language and two collections of beauty brushes for US cosmetics brand Anisa to define a new chapter in the company’s future.

A Brush With Beauty

The Anisa brushes feature tactile and approachable forms that evoke feelings of delight and offer differentiation in a crowded marketplace. The brand DNA was driven by iterative and in-depth conversations with the CEO to create a strong visual identity for the brand’s inaugural eponymous collection.

Based on detailed behavioural studies, the studio determined a sweeping form that improves usability and allows for a high degree of manoeuvrability when applying both beauty and skin hydration products. The fluid nature of the Anisa branding works hand-in-hand with the ergonomic forms of the brushes.
